On December 9, 2023 in a secret warehouse in Madison, Wisconsin, Interdimensional Transmissions teamed up with two titans of the Midwest, Remain in Night and Intellephunk, for 12 hour party called, appropriately, Midwest Freaks. Together, we curated the environment and the music, in the Cleanest Warehouse Of All Time (!!). I played after Aza and directly before @_bbmmgg_, it was like a special family reunion. He has immersed himself in the local underground scene, learning and developing his skills firsthand. barbuhh’s dedication shines through in his consistent attendance at every key techno event, where he has developed a sharp awareness of emerging artists and tracks.
barbuhh is known for his exceptional ability to energize the dance floor. His sets are characterized by meticulously curated track selections and a dynamic mixing style playing tracks ranging from hypnotic/groovy atmospheres to more heavy/driving tunes. With a deep understanding of the genre and an innate talent for creating immersive sonic experiences, barbuhh is a figure seeking to create dance experiences in the techno landscape of Chicago.

Erik Jabari is a DJ and producer, raised in Berlin and Wuppertal.

As a child, he was already surrounded by reggae, dubstep and early techno.
This paved his way to learning classical music theory and clarinet, but
finding more interest in jazz than classical music.

Inspired by the possibilities of making whole tracks with more than just
one instrument, he began producing hip hop and electronic dance music.
 
As an employee at Hard Wax, the Berlin record store institution, he has
continuously shaped his sound over the last few years.

His music is techno centered with influences from house, dubstep, UKG and
drum n bass. In his productions you can feel his appreciation of the
origins of electronic music, which helped him to find his own modern sound.

His DJ sets are techno-centered, driving and powerful, but also subtle and
elegant.
