Lowbit favourite and musical powerhouse Veljko Jovic returns to the label with a two track EP which takes no prisoners.

The first track “Odd One Out” stays true to it’s name and stands out from the crowd right from the start as its relentless driving and swirling bassline builds and builds. Mystical stabs follow and the track grows into an electronic inferno as moody riffs and pads are unleashed. The intensity then dissolves and for a moment we have calm…….the drama then swells to a glistening crescendo throughout the break, exploding into a cacophony of dark synths and intrigue before the kick drum and twisted vocal come crashing in to take us to the next level. Rhythmic clavs and percussion shimmer in the darkness as we soar even higher.

Another rolling techno bassline, both bleak and magnificent, underpins “Outcast’ and the track develops at pace with dark and sinister stabs creating the mood and drum fills ricocheting off the rising, ominous synth lines. The main melody is then unleashed in all its glory and the drums rise in unity, before the record drops and the dance floor explodes. Layers of intricate anti-melodies build and a final poignant and hopeful synth line rises above the flames and leads us all helplessly into the next dimension.

Veljko casts two dark and unyielding sonic spells here, which should not be missed!

Len Walker might be a household name by now. The native Berliner, who still lives in his little cultural town, has already made quite a few musical appearances. This man is not yet a veteran but has been composing music for almost two decades. However, he only approached the public with it much later. He knows how to respond to people. He is not a musical extremist, in fact quite the opposite - he likes a good mix of deep and tech. His previous releases on "Wildfang Music" were characterized by club sound, whether as a remixer for Stil and Bense, as one of the "Various Artists" on our compilations or as a solo artist with his "Berlin Carnival EP".

Creating an album had been on his imaginary bucket list for a long time. This process of creation dragged on for about a year and suddenly the album was there. As it is with artists, you eventually overhear your tracks. When you get over that point of max pain and still have a great result in your hands, it's done. 13 pieces for eternity. All contemporary and yet nostalgic. Music that will still be listenable in years to come and does not follow any trend. His style is characterized above all by his alternation of tonality. Emotionally and with a lot of pressure, this beautiful piece comes along. This album is as diverse as a real album should be. Nevertheless, his signature sounds draw a red thread through the story he tells us. Some of his tracks are inspired by places he has visited, some are heart tracks, others have simply kept their working title. The music, the cover and design, everything is of one piece, from one pen; self-made. The watercolour painting on the album cover itself was inspired by the Berlin watercolour artist "Gris" who thankfully contributed the lettering.

Len Walker has definitely fallen in love with creating albums. So this may not be his last. Late Night Tales is filled with organic warm sounds, synthetic crackling elements, deep driving basses, rattling percussions and concise vocals. These form a feast for the ears with insanely beautiful structures and build-ups. Another thing that distinguishes Len Walker: his love of detail and the art of incorporating dozens of elements without it becoming too much. This is how he tells his stories.

Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Abity to the label for their debut EP entitled Memories'. Hailing from Argentina, Jóse Duque and Bruno Signorelli make up the Abity production team. The Rosario natives have been collaborating and creating their brand of progressive music for over a decade. Laying claim to a discography of close to 150 credits, the Nick Warren favourites have showcased their music via Antrim's Or Two Strangers, 3rd Avenue, Soundteller Records and Stellar Fountain. Now in a year which has seen just one new project, Abity debuts on Dopamine White with a three-track artist showcase.

Abity's penchant for progressive minded music continues to evolve with the lead track Memories'. Backed by punchy beats and a warm, rolling groove comes pulsating rhythms and finely tuned percussion. Its powerful drive is blanketed with soulful vocal pads and clusters of timely effects. Quirky arps and harmonic overlays add depth and colour across the first act, resulting in an otherworldly feel. The second of two breaks proves impactful, gracefully melting down to impassioned vocal phrasing and hopeful atmospherics, before a rush of beats ushers in a driving finale.

The journey continues with the deep, chugging vibes of Deceptive River''. Immediately captivating, it's timeless chord stabs and subterranean groove make for a stellar beginning. Firing percussion and effervescent effects play off the muscular low end, making for an irresistible vibe leading into the break. Short but impactful, the interlude builds tension through rising modulation, before smoothly transitioning into a finale of esoteric chord changes and glowing overlays.

The release concludes in fine fashion with the nostalgic qualities of Injection'. Beginning with perfectly sculpted beats and a wide array of electronic meanderings, it's a compelling creation from the start. Warm atmospheres and bubbly arps gently encase the framework, as charged rhythms drive momentum forward. Airy atmospherics trail across the backdrop, building emotion with each successive loop, before a timely break resets the groove for a stirring finale. It rounds out what is an inspired collection of music from Abity, who continue to be one of Argentina's most beloved progressive house acts.
