Next up on Lowbit is a true international collaboration between rising German production star ANMA and Iranian duo High On Mars with their Ometeotl EP.

On the opening track "Ometeotl"; ANMA and High On Mars unleashes a dark, rolling, infectious groove across the Berlin cityscape, with sinister stabs and synth motifs building the tension. Moody and engaging vocals wrap gloriously around shimmering pads and combine with expertly programmed key changes to light up the aural spectrum, before the reconditeness returns with unrelenting anti-melodies locking us into the final score.

The second track "Unlighted" fuses playful arpeggiated hooks with a plethora of foreboding clatters and tones, before the voice of an angel casts a stunning light over the minimal techno twilight. Snares erupt amongst metallic and urgent crashes as the heavens open and a cacophony of drums and textures drive us forward with equanimity.

An excellent EP which showcases futuristic sound design and unique track arrangements, alongside some show-stopping vocals and melodies. This is not be missed!
