Josh is a 24 year old Dj from Redditch , England. Josh has rose rapidly in the Birmingham House & Bass scene securing a set at Birmingham Pride and also recently playing over in  ibiza. josh also has a monthly residency at Chic nightclub Birmingham along with him playing at other events such as Rainbow Venue/Subway City /Mission House/AA1 Radio and more throughout the region. 

Josh has worked tirelessly over the last 7 years perfecting his skills and style in House, Bass and Jackin. When josh is not behind the decks you can find him working hard in the studio perfecting his skill for the love of music.

DJ WALSHY! - Vocal House, Garage & Bass music

I started DJing about 25 years ago when I was 15, and ever since then I have listened to music every day. I started out with Hard House, mixing away on the good old vinyl. Obviously I have adapted with time and technology and am now a fully fledged 'digital' DJ, along with all the rest. (although I do like to dig out the Technics and dust off the vinyl) After I had finished with the hard stuff I moved onto Organ/Bassline house, which was quickly followed by Electro, Jackin and the wonky sounds. The current vocal house & bass sounds are my style. I have a big interest in artists such as Luke Hepworth, Tom Hall, CamelPhat & the Sleepin' is cheatin' team etc.
I have played at many venues and events in and around Leeds and Bradford over the years. These include, Mission, Hanky Panky, Insomnifest, Beaver Works, Mint, Mint Warehouse, Casa Loco's, SYN, The Boilerhouse, Stinkys Peephouse, Evolution and many many more.

Inspired over 25 years ago by events such as TinTins, Miss Moneypenny’s and Sundissential, James began his DJ career before taking time out to evaluate his direction. Well the boy did good; James surged back onto the scene in May 2014 with more direction and force than most aspiring & committed DJ’s!

In these few short years this likeable snapback wearing DJ has made it to the final of 2 DJ competitions, been nominated for ‘Midlands Best Club DJ’ by Zone Magazine two years running and has played more gigs up and down the UK, that most local veteran DJ’s would be envious of! 

You will find James hosting a weekly online show for AA1 radio in which he’s top of the leaderboard for most viewers.  His ability to read a crowd is second to none, but to read an online radio station crowd is a talent in itself.
