I like how your interpretation sounds inherently positive and optimistic, as if the chance encounter with said drifter was a cool thing that inevitably leeds to something magical and great. At least that's the vibe I'm getting from your accompaniment. And I like this sentiment a lot, indeed it'd be cool to meet such a stranger. And maybe becoming such a drifter would be even cooler?
