Morgens, wenn der Mond kurz der Sonne begegnet und wir, die Menschen uns im wachen, schlafenden, tanzenden, träumenden, weinenden oder erwartungsfreudigen Zustand befinden, so zwischen Nachtstille und Tagesgeräuschen, in diesem Moment, da ist es für euren Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson meist so, als ob die Welt kurz den Atem anhält - inne hält . . . und ob sie sich dann ebenso kurz fragt: ob der ganze universelle Wahnsinn Sinn macht? . . . und dann, als dann so richtig tief ausatmet. Es ist ein ganz besonderer Moment und den in Musik zu packen, das ist gar nicht so einfach.
 
Beim sinnieren und philosophieren, wie das wohl klingen könnte, streifte ich am Strand entlang und traf auf eine Drossel. Frei von bestimmten Gefühlen und ausgerüstet mit einer kunterbunten Zusammenstellung an tracks, welche die Drossel an die vielen und verschiedenen Küsten des Erdballs erinnern, löste das Vöglein mit seinem Mix die unsinnige wie sinnhafte, doch immer philosophisch wichtige Gedankenspielerei auf. https://soundcloud.com/lsdaensen, wie sich die Drossel nennt, fängt den Moment ein und setzt ihn genau für diesen Augenblick passend um - es geht um das Hier & Jetzt, denn der Morgige könnte schon wieder ganz anders sein. 

Wenn Daensen nicht gerade als Drossel um euren Käpt’n umherschwirrt, dann residiert er beim Bordel des Arts im Salon zur wilden Renate (Berlin) oder startet mit Rafaele Castiglione das www.soundcloud.com/drosssel - Label, als ein Sub-Label zu Amselcom. Es zwitschert und tschilpt also gar fröhlich, wenn der Mond kurz der Sonne begegnet.

Huge thanks to White Ocean for making one of my dreams a reality. This year was my very first Burn… And if you met me on the playa, you know how much fun I had! For those who know me well, this experience was really powerful. I discovered a new part of myself, artistically and socially. And this set at White Ocean was very special. I was supposed to play a 3 hours live set but for many reasons I wasn’t able to do so…  So I improvised a kind of hybrid set remixing and editing some tracks in live. I had never done such a thing before and it was totally insane! Right after I started a big dust storm hit the playa and we couldn't see a thing but it was unbelievable! So epic! The crowd was insane! It probably was the craziest set in my entire life! I will never forget this one. There is so much to say… Just be there.
