-Lamar Ferguson aka (Rythum) was born on September 27, in Ohio. . Lamar currently resides in Fostoria Ohio, approximately 2 hours from Cleveland and 40 miles from Toledo Oh. Lamar grew up during the formative years of hip hop and R&B. He was influenced by the earliest works of R&B legends such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Rick James, Prince, and newer artists such as Brian Mcknight, Jodeci, Guy, and New Edition etc. People noticed his abilities early on and others began to recognize his talent. Singing at school programs, his Church choir, many community events, and just about anywhere he could show his voice. Lamar began writing his own music and poetry at the age of 15. He has written and composed many songs for artists world wide. Since then Lamar has gotten alot of attention from music powerhouses in the industry, due to his energetic performances and perfectionism qualities. He has opened shows for many artists such as Avant, Lil Flip, E-40, Twista, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire,and a host of other performers who have came through Ohio and where he has traveled. Lamar has also won world renound contest like Tom Joyners Big Break & world famous Apollo Theater. Massive underground respect has proven that his writing style is unique and universal. His versatility and his pursuing ambition has proven to be outstanding. Lamar remains confident as well as coachable, while continuing to better his craft. To work with him is to know him.
