Fresh off his massive chart-topping releases on Bedrock and Global Underground, the enigmatic Canadian legend, Siavash, returns home to You Plus One with this bold new EP titled ‘Danger’. This two-track release focuses on electronic music’s future direction while giving a tasteful nod to the past. For the title track, ‘Danger’, Siavash blends modern composition, sound design, and wild acid bass elements, while still holding a firm grip on his staple Detroit techno roots: all that plus a bonus dose of nostalgia for the real 90’s hip-hop heads.

The second track, ‘Control’, brings a gripping contrast with its hypnotic groove and deep, driving darker rhythmic progression. It snatches your attention from the jump and never lets go, showcasing Siavash's bold in-studio skill and guiding the listeners into an emotional state of suspended animation. 

Both 'Danger’ and 'Control' are brutally creative productions, combining mass appeal with a gritty, raw edge that has gained early support from some of the biggest artists’ from around the world.

Now that his excellent free-to-download new double album, Stories From Sa Talaia, is out, HOSH is busy releasing the tacks from it on separate EPs. They come on the Ibiza based Diynamic associate's own fryhide label, and after part one comes part two with four more essential tracks. The first is a collaboration with Tim Englehardt and is a supple track laden with emotive synth patterns. It has beats that rise up and down and take you on a trip to the outer edges of the galaxy. Then, Ocean Data is an eight minute deep techno opus with watery pads, a spacious atmosphere and icy hi hats driving things along as you get swept up in the groove. On the flipside, HOSH links with Lehar and they come up with the brilliant O Fratello Mio, a driving track with physical drums and warped synth sounds. It is filled with subtle effects that add dynamism to the moody groove and again features some magical melodic sequences. Last of all, Fighting the Deamons is a dark and late night track sprinkled with cow bells. It's for heads down dancing on intense floors and closes out a perfect second EP.

HOSH - O Fratello Mio (with Lehar)

Following their album 'Murmurations', Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco has remixed all 12 tracks off the LP for the 'Re-Murmurations' release. Today we hear the first listen of the first mix of 'Caught In A Wave' off the album, one of the first releases from Shaw after he was diagnosed with AL amyloidosis, a rare and serious condition that affects blood cells in the bone marrow (http://www.amyloidosis.org.uk). After initial weeks in treatment, Jas was able to return to the studio and create 'Re-Murmurations', which will be out September 28 via Wichita Recordings. Literally spoken Hungarian artists Mulya and Sobek are shaking hands for their latest common release on Chapter 24, factually the both have been friends for quite a while. Regardless the aforementioned the busy producers have come up with another club-oriented, rhythmically influenced four tracker, 'Mirrored Screen', that continues to carry their melodious and tropical vibe throughout the scene to the floors. 'Shaking Hands' might be the best of both's artists worlds - as it combines a lush bass line, which is heavily shaking its way through the following synth-chords as they are pulled up like an accordion and create a restlessness and keep the listener in an infinite dance-loop to Mulya & Sobek's highly musical sound spectacle. 

Mulya & Sobek's EP 'Mirrored Screen' will be released on Chapter 24 on September 20th, 2019.
