Montrealer @mitch_oliver returns to Kindisch with a pair of hypnotic house rollers.

Mitch Oliver is at the heart of the ever-evolving melodic movement. The rising star is a DJ, producer and sound engineer respected for his blend of emotive grooves on the likes of Akbal Music, Seven
Villas, When We Dip XYZ and Hoomidaas Records. He has previously released two singles on this label and now returns with his first full EP for the Berlin imprint. His deft touch in the studio and finely curated DJ sets have taken him across Canada, the US, and the Caribbean with performances at renowned events such as AIM Festival, Burning Man and SXM Festival. At home in Montreal, he runs his own Aurora events as a residency at Velvet and he was part of Guy Laliberté’s PY1 Nights.

Mitch opens up with vocalist MYRE for 'Alpine', a richly detailed track with subtle acoustic guitar licks and buttery smooth vocals. The spacious, patient groove builds with deft percussive details that heighten the alluring atmosphere of this classy late night gem.

Second track 'Mylus' is a collaboration with musician @nicfalardeau. It is another brilliantly organic track with seductive wood-block hits over frictionless deep house drums. Serene string sounds, yawning chords and soft shakers all pepper the perfect groove as you slowly but surely fall under its majestic and romantic spell.

These are two tender house tracks stuffed with heartfelt warmth.

UK DJ/producer Boxer and Los Angeles-based songwriter/producer RYTERBAND have joined forces again, with the upcoming melodic house anthem, “Looking For Shelter,” on Lane 8’s imprint, This Never Happened, available to stream April 18 on Spotify, Apple Music, and all DSPs worldwide.  The track marries RYTERBAND’s wistful, passionate vocals with Boxer’s cutting-edge production to create a song that is equal parts heartfelt and powerful.

“This is a song about hope and connection in a dark world” says RYTERBAND. “It reminds us that we can weather the storm, if we stick together.”

“Looking for Shelter” is a follow-up to Boxer & RYTERBAND’s 2021 collaboration, “Make Me Wild,” (Anjunadeep), which has been streamed over 2.5 million times, played by DJ’s worldwide, and received a year-long feature on Apple Music’s Chill Dance playlist.

Boxer is a British-born music producer and DJ who has released on the likes of Anjunadeep, Anjunabeats, Colorize, and Armada, to name a few.

Having performed at Anjunadeep Explorations in Albania and the Colorize Colorscapes ADE showcase in 2022, 2023 is already shaping up to be a bigger year for the Worcester-based musician.

Over the years, Boxer has performed at some of the world’s most renowned venues including Ministry of Sound (London), Eden (Ibiza) & Warehouse Project (Manchester).

With details of new music on the horizon, as well as international tour dates, Boxer is fast becoming a household name within the electronic music scene.

ABOUT RYTERBAND

RYTERBAND cut his teeth in the TV/film industry as a composer and music editor. He has contributed to over 50 TV shows and movies, including Euphoria, Brooklyn 99, The Man Who Fell To Earth, and The Umbrella Academy. He has also scored advertisements for Cadillac, Budweiser, Ikea, and Payless Shoes.

As a singer and frontman, he has performed throughout LA, including appearances at The Roxy, House of Blues, and dozens of other venues. His self-released 2020 EP, “Undefended” was co-produced by GRAMMY-winner Bob Cutarella, along with seven music videos, remixes by Jody Wisternoff, Indian Wells, and Boxer, and a charity partnership with United Way to raise money for COVID-19 relief. His single “Brilliant Eyes” won the grand prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest the following year, and RYTERBAND’s catalog has been streamed over six million times since.

At the end of March, RYTERBAND will release a cover of “Say Something” (A Great Big World) that’s slated to receive a five-minute feature placement on the season finale of Sullivan’s Crossing in May (CTV).  His second EP is scheduled for release this spring, along with a handful of videos, remixes, and other collaborations.

Yourr returns to Songspire Records after his heavily supported ‘All We Know’ and ‘Deserter’ release. He present us ‘Behind The Sun’, with its mischievous grooves and rebellious sound this tune makes sure to create a special vibe at parties worldwide. On remix duties we have John Tejada who needs no introduction. Tejada had a great year with several big tracks on his own Palette Recordings and the recently released ‘Don’t Let Get You Down’ with Reggie Watts as Wajatta. He kicks of 2020 with this remix of ‘Behind The Sun’. Spiked with cool rhythms, a spacey groove, smacking percussion loops and later on the added acid lines, this timeless remix offers up a space spectacle no melodic house lover can resist.

'From a home on the Madeira archipelago, Li-Polymer been a regular on the underground dance industry's imprints for over a decade through music signed to the likes of Balkan Connection, Lowbit and Juicebox Music. A 2014 debut for Particles saw a remix of Matt Rowan followed by a series of original releases on the label's seasonal compilation series before May 2017's "Crystal Serenity" marked a notable highlight. Returning with another twin-track original offering, "Jacaranda" is a rich flowing piece that blossoms through its delicate melodic phrasing that drifts in sultry fashion while a sumptuous delayed motif and uptempo arp add counterpoint joy. A deep kick and light percussive vibe trip across the 9-minute piece with ease in a joyous offering. At over 10-minutes, "All Together We Are More" is redolent in opulent soundscapes that hold sway over muted kick and hi-hat pattern. Evolving gently through subtle melodic variation, textured pads drift across the track as a swathe of phrases entwine before a delayed motif makes its play in the third movement. The result is a compelling piece from the Portuguese artist.

Another Proton Music regular, Hot TuneiK has created a stir with a new organic sound that witnessed the birth of his "Heightened Senses" EP in February 2020. With Vol. 2 on the horizon in 2021, the Mexican's unique sound has been a favourite on a growing number of labels that include the likes of Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue and Visceral. Finding an array of releases on Particles that include 2017's "Erase and Rewind" and 2018's "Tulum", Hot TuneiK now returns to the label for the first time since an August 2020 remix of Vidno. Reworking "Jacaranda", the melodic subtlety of the original is retained while a purposeful rhythmic backdrop provides a unique new direction through tape delays and percussive edge. Hitting its stride with an array of new production material that includes a meandering lead synth line and pulsating bassline in the second half, Hot TuneiK showcases talent in abundance.

As Li-Polymer's craftsmanship comes to the fore once more, "Jacaranda" blossoms alongside remixes from LADS, Traumhouse and Hot TuneiK.'
