Formados en principio como dúo electrónico por Marcelo Gómez y Federico Maqui, editan su álbum homónimo a principio del 2008, el cual fue post-producido por Daniel Melero. Durante ese año se presentaron en Festivales y ciclos de B.A. así como en ciudades del interior del país como Rosario y Bahía Blanca. Ya conformados como banda de cuatro integrantes en junio del 2013 editan su segundo álbum titulado “Recuerdos del futuro”, producido por ellos mismo y por el pionero de la electrónica Carlos Shaw. Posterior a la edición se presentaron en varios Festivales, y ciudades del interior del país, llegando a actuar de backing band del artista canadiense Jef Barbara en junio del 2014. 
Durante el 2016/17, bajo la producción artística de Sebastián Mondragón (Estupendo) trabajan en los 11 tracks que conformarán el tercer álbum de estudio, editando como adelanto del mismo, dos singles
“Para mi es muy normal” (dic.2017) y “Alumno irregular” (enero 2018).

In 1998, songwriting & production duo Emily Haines & Jimmy Shaw formed what would become Metric and left Toronto for NYC in search of like-minded artists. In 2001/2002, they were joined by drummer Joules Scott Key & bassist Joshua Winstead, and found themselves at the center of the city’s burgeoning alt-rock scene alongside bands like LCD Soundsystem, The Strokes, TV On the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol and more. Unlike their peers, Metric resisted major label offers, releasing albums that pushed boundaries on their own terms.
