On the path off beaten, remained a curious presence of pure unexplainable energy. Closer and closer drawn to the black stump, we can't help but to wonder what lies beyond.

Beyond the Black Stump

Autumn is the season, journeying for what seemed like a fortnight, the path was finally unveiled in it's glory. Upon its travels however, the path and it's surroundings weren't as described as through it's passages. It's much too late, you already lie off the beaten path.

The existence of dark matter is inferred from its gravitational effects on visible matter, such as galaxies and galaxy clusters. A lone figure stands sentinel atop a snow-covered ridge under a starless sky. The air is frigid, each breath a visible puff that quickly dissipates into the night. The only sounds are the soft crunch of boots on frozen ground and the distant howl of wind weaving through skeletal trees. Cloaked in layers of dark wool and fur, the watchman grips a weathered spear, his eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of movement.
