The Beegles have existed in embryo for years. Not until 2012 was the name
conceived and The Beegles became what they are today. Through the writing
partnership of Ash Briody and Shane Whitson the impetus was given for a
journey through sound. Today, through the various iterations of its members, The Beegles have become something else, something other. With 2 EP’s under their belt the longstanding member (Ash Briody) decided to conceive anew the diretion of the band in the name of the new LP, Everybody Outside. Herein we see the band retroactively understood. In namesake only does the band live on, and through the new believers does it continue too. As The Beegles gesture toward the event horizon of its old self, Ash Briody, Merlyn Gwyther-McCuskey and Owen Miller bring The Beegles to a new conclusion. Less than a band but more than an idea The Beegles try to bring music back to itself and go from the very principles themselves. From the studio to the backyard the music of Ash Briody is the extension of a desire to “write an album for my dad to listen to whilst he gardens.” Inside or outside The Beegles are for everybody.

Audio Producer, Sound Alchemist, Singer, Music Lover, apprentice and explorer of life with more than 13 exploring sound and music production with national and international credits in sound design for audiovisual content, film and television. His career connects through various worlds from alternative Latin rock, experimental hip-hop, electronic fusions and sound therapy. Graduated in 2014 from SAE Melbourne, Australia as an Audio Producer with investigative studies in sound therapy/sound healing modalities and their connection and techniques in their application in modern/contemporary music production. His love of sound led him to facilitate sound therapy in 2014 for Yin Yoga classes at Summer Healing Yoga Studios in Australia and other events and festivals using ancestral instruments such as crystal bowls and his voice.

This deep work with sound is a deep prayer at the service of love... to assist the human journey and reconnect with our true essence... calling in to continue learning remembering growing sharing and traveling through worlds of sound...
