Another one from the Sims archives for the lockdown crew, don't think this went public before but i could be wrong.
It was recorded in '99, to cassette, and the tape just says 'Party Mix' on it, although i know for sure it wasn't from a party (unless just me, my bestie Sosa, Reggie Redstripe and some Benson's in the dining room of a shit house in Essex is a party..ha ha).

Anyways, it's kinda cool, lots of classics and faves amongst early Hardgroove material and standard late 90s flavoured trickery.

Here’s a recording taken from last year's ‘F**k Disco Demolition’ party at the excellent Paloma club in Berlin, it was such a wicked night and great to play alongside Dan Curtin and the LiveJam crew. Sadly we weren’t able to return for our party this July due to Covid 19 but hopefully this set will keep you going til the next one!

it’s only the second time I’ve donned my Ron Bacardi hat (literally) in Berlin (the first being at Panorama Bar a few years ago). For those unfamiliar with the vibe, it’s Raw House, Mutant Disco and original Warehouse grooves, taking inspiration from Chicago masters like Ron Hardy, DJ Rush and Derrick Carter and mixed up in my usual energetic style. 

These occasional sets are a lot of fun to do, hope you dig this recording.

Today is the 7th anniversary of my first ever live set @ Awakenings festival in Holland. It was fun/stressful/hellish and probably the hardest i've ever worked to prepare for a set, ever!
3 months of prep, breaking down each track and recreating it on a live set up that wasn't the same as my studio, to perform at Awakenings, Monegros and a Machine party in London, it was a massive learning curve, a big step out of my comfort zone and a genuinely rewarding experience.
