This song is about Beowulf, an epic poem written a thousand years ago. It tells the story of a man who rips off a monster's arm, battles a swamp hag, and slays a dragon.

Lyrics:
In the great mead hall of Heorot, lived Danish warriors so distraught. The monster Grendel laid siege for 12 years, so every night was filled with fear.

A hero named Beowulf said he could help, and vowed to fight the beast all by himself. And when Grendel attacked one night, Beowulf rose to the fight.

In a fearsome battle so grand,
Beowulf and Grendel fought hand to hand,
In the brawl, Grendel's arm was torn out,
While Beowulf gave a triumphant shout.

Grendel fled home but soon died,
With his loving mother by his side,
Grendel's mother sought revenge,
So that her son's death could be avenged.

She attacked the hall and stole the king's man,
So Beowulf made a search plan,
He tracked her to an eerie lake,
Filled with monsters and sea snakes.

Grendel's mother lived in a midnight cave,
But Beowulf was bold and brave,
He slew her with a magic sword,
And took Grendel's head as a reward.

He returned to the hall victorious,
And Hrothgar's warriors were joyous,
Their terror was finally at an end,
And Beowulf became a legend.

Context:

It is midnight in Delver. The king’s armies assemble within the Golden Castle. The summer night breathes its stifling heat, while the moon stands on watch, unaware of the horror about to unfold. Clad in the armor of the state and wielding the sword of madness, the command is given.

At first it resembles a parade of grandeur, but in secret, the famed Belliants, the kingdom’s sworn protectors, begin a blood hunt against all mages. What seemed like a battle against a deadly invader is nothing but a pestilent wrath, spreading through them and driving them mad like rabid hounds.

Suddenly, without giving their victims any chance to defend themselves, they storm into the mages’ homes and slaughter them. Few will live through this death march.

In the Name of the King is a song that depicts the beginning of the inquisition against the mages. The Golden City, once the stage and seat of wisdom so revered by the nobles, was delivered to a wave of madness caused by the folly of the King of Berania. Although the monarch was under the effects of magic and the influence of a power-hungry mage, all the other kings were not. In the Name of the King is the epic of the march of insanity, parading and crushing reason and common sense, all in the name of a king: hatred."

I composed this music to tell the ongoing struggle that humanity has fought against the world throughout its history. This music evokes the battles that humans have fought against the elements, the storms, and the multiple dangers present on our planet, and the beliefs that emerged from them. It expresses the emotions that humans felt in the face of these natural forces, and the ways in which they fought for their survival... I hope that this music will be appreciated, and I infinitely thank those who support me. If you enjoyed my music, a small like would please me greatly and motivate me to continue.
