Next through the door at NoExcuse Records is Deeper Purpose with his 'Love Medicine' release. The up and coming producer serves us an original that is married up with a killer remix from Tech House mogul Max Chapman; both tracks are set to cause some serious damage respectively upon release.

Opening the show with the original from Deeper Purpose, it features a strong NoExcuse vibe. Plenty of robust drum work and catchy percussive elements that build progressively throughout the track are just the mere surface level components, underneath that you can find the heart and soul of Love Medicine. No doubt one of the catchiest vocals you will hear all summer, accompanied by a rich, roaring bassline.

The remix from Max Chapman is just as enjoyable, a chugging, peak-time Tech Groover loaded to the ceiling with his trademark sound. A strong accomplice to the original, offering a bouncier approach with tight drums, fetching melodics and plenty of Max's punch in the forehead style drops (cue the epic drum fills & snare builds!).

A modern Tech House release that packs a mighty punch from one of the most promising talents in the game currently, followed up by undoubtedly one of the godfathers of the UK scene.

Revisiting some of the year's biggest tracks in techno, Nicole Moudaber's MOOD Records presents 'Best of MOOD 2018,' mixed by label favorite Carlo Ruetz. Available for digital download December 21 and featuring artwork from mixed media fine artist, Peter Max-Jakobsen, the release comes as only the second compilation from the MOOD Records imprint after surpassing a milestone 50 releases in 2017. Delivering the stomping four track 'Stormer' EP this past June -- which saw plays from the likes of Adam Beyer and Anja Schneider -- Nicole Moudaber taps fast rising star Carlo Ruetz for the label compilation. Highlighting MOOD Records original tracks from Fur Coat, POPOF, Stephan Hinz, and remixes for Moby, Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox, the 12-track compilation represents the label's leading take on dance music.

We welcomed him to the MOOD family with his 'Stormer' EP in June and he also joined me at MoodZONE at BPM Portugal earlier this year. Opening with Wigbert's "Moonlight," the nine minute acid saga builds until the rattling percussive beat of Stephan Hinz's "Conspiracies" takes the lead. Teaming up for their MOOD Records debut, Italian techno maestros ANNA V & M.I.T.A., transport listeners to another dimension with the warping sounds of "Through The Wormhole" followed by the minimal, yet transforming motif from SUDO's "Abstract." As the first of his two tracks on the compilation, Carlo Ruetz's "Surrender" sets the perfect stage for the Truncate peak-hour remix of Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox's classic number, "See You Next Tuesday." Turning to a remix from the MOOD Records label boss herself, Nicole Moudaber crafts a spellbinding, ambient techno atmosphere with her innovative take on Moby's "Like A Motherless Child" before the compilation goes into overdrive with Venezuelan duo Fur Coat's "Spiral" and "Alone In The Dark" from POPOF. The intensity continues with Stephan Hinz's "Fearless" with its synth hook throughout fading into Sly Faux's mesmerizing "This Made You." Rounding out the mix with another of his tracks, Carlo Ruetz stays true to MOOD Records' sound with a dark attitude on "Silence."

The next release on Roush Label comes from Italian tag-team, Luigi Rocca and RUDE. Their 'Lagger Master' EP consists of three fresh original cuts, loaded with plenty of contemporary tech house flavours and geared perfectly for the dancefloor. The title track opens the show with blistering pace. Piercing drums and sharp hat rhythms are accompanied by a rough and groovy bassline, tied up nicely with offbeat percussion, vocal and synth injections. Expect big buildups with huge amounts of energy and hammering drops. 'Matto Grosso' follows up with a more deep tech feel, the kind of stuff that Luigi is well known for with his 303Lovers imprint. An essentially sophisticated number with lots of tasty low-frequency action driven throughout. Don't get too relaxed, though, as the transitions will sneak up on you out of nowhere with their unexpected extremities. Finally, 'The Switch' reverts back to uptempo tech, driven by its emphasis on percussion and groove. Heavyset kicks and a rumbling sub bounce the track along nicely, being supplemented by subtle melodic hits and a catchy vocal kook. Luis Coto, better known as Wicho Coto is a Guatemalan dj and producer, who has stood out in recent years, for the style and genres of music that mixes, these being the Tech House and the House.

As a child, Wicho became interested in music, asking for music CDs as gifts and began to play drums at the age of eight. As his musical tastes grew, his interest in the art of mixing began, with a magazine about electronic music, in which he learned more about this genre, mainly about the "Tech House".

In the Wicho sets, the use of Latin vocals and percussions predominates, which are mixed with the bases of the House and Tech House to form an environment where people can dance and enjoy various rhythms. Wicho Coto has a fairly extensive experience playing in places and concerts, highlighting among them having been “dj opener” by Dj Chuckie and Markus Schulz, Dj Green Lantern, also having participated in the already famous “Danzón Pérez” by JR Gonzo, multiple Interviews in electronic television and radio music programs, he has played in several clubs and bars in the city and has a monthly radio show on the largest online radio in Central America and the 3 most important in Latin America, Radio Saturn.
And in the field of music production, it has the release of an EP that contains an Original Mix made by him, and two more producers and a remix made by the Tektonauts (Avenue Recordings, Zero Urban Records) and Lean Butler of Mexico . This EP was released on the label of Barcelona, ​​Spain called "Yaiza Records" which include artists such as Konstantin Yoodza, Nicole Moudaber, Nic Fanciulli, Loco Dice and D-Formation, to name a few.
