First Salmple Patch

Quick live performance I put together over the weekend. The main idea was to loop some live vocals into a chord on Nebulae, run that buffer through some effects and then into a crossfader, have a bouncing ball envelope control the crossfade and then have a single trigger hit that envelope, a pitch change, another envelope on a filter cutoff and a kick drum all at the same time for a splashy sound on kick drum hits. I did that and then went a little weird with it, adding some extra drums from Salmple; a few basic effects in FL Studio (multitracking);  a lead from Nerdseq plus Salmple (with internal Salmple filter cutoff modulated to match the vocal pitch changes); a square wave as a clock, FMed by another wave; and at one point replacing the Nebulae's source with a live mic that I whistled into. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“Sabrina Segment Remix” starts with the echoing tones of my family song, an ode to my Indigeniety that my ancestors passed down which resonates in my soul.  It guides the journey, and is the description of my life, being a young indigenous queer person facing homelessness and danger.  The driving beats, rich vocals, wooden flute, and rich synths drive home a certainty that exists within the lyrics and within me.  No matter the circumstance,  I am always free, and freedom is music.
