2023 Trance 7

March '20 - our dance floors shut, the rave stops. Today, more than a year later, we're still waiting for our favorite clubs to reopen their doors and our favorite festival to enchant us yet another time. We all miss our chance to gather in warm crowds, share a smile with a stranger and shake off the burdens of everyday life on the dance floor. It's a challenging time for the scene, mentally and physically. But ln and behold, sooner or later, social isolation will come to an end and there will be a REVIVAL.

After months of planning & scheming, we're hyper-excited to present our very first label release - a 10 track compilation to revive our dance floors after their dormancy. The full compilation will be released throughout summer '21.

We're closing off with a big bang: Five original tracks by six of our absolute favorite artists! Anakim, Mila Journée, Starkato & Intaktogene, Yeröm & Fabian Vieregge. 

The highly regarded talent Yeröm picks it up with the flowy & melodic ‚Whats That Thing' that makes us remember the times when social distancing wasn't a thing.

La salud mental es un tema de incumbencia general. Sin embargo, existen prejuicios y temores que suponen un obstáculo para hablar de esto. Tenemos por costumbre acudir a la psicología o a la psiquiatría solo cuando sentimos que tenemos un problema, y a menudo nos cuesta aceptar que esto sea así. En pocas palabras, buscamos ayuda cuando no hay más alternativa, ni vuelta atrás. La noche dispone de un escenario para mostrar nuestra mejor cara y, muchas veces, olvidar esos dolores. Propone incluso un refugio, que apacigua las preocupaciones y nos hace sentir bien. Entonces, decidimos vivir el momento y olvidarnos de que el sol vuelve a salir, revelando todo lo que no hemos resuelto. Con el conversatorio “Mente sana, baile eterno: salud mental en la industria de la música electrónica” queremos poner sobre la mesa esas situaciones que nos afectan, contextualizándolas dentro de nuestra escena y analizando la relación que existe entre ambas. 

Como colectivo que propende por la formación de espacios de expresión y fiesta, creemos que tenemos la responsabilidad de cuidar la salud mental de nuestro público, no solo de quienes disfrutan de nuestros eventos sino de todas las personas que están involucradas en el medio. Por eso, buscamos analizar la forma en que nos relacionamos con la fiesta, teniendo en cuenta todos los actores allí presentes (la música, los amigos, nuestras motivaciones, las drogas y el alcohol, entre otros), para promover una conciencia del autocuidado en estos contextos. Es pertinente aclarar que con esto no estamos sugiriendo la existencia de una escena “enferma” o “dañina”. Lo que queremos es proponer escenarios en los que podamos seguir bailando durante noches enteras, minimizando los riesgos y consecuencias negativas provenientes de la dinámica del festejo.
