Lucas Scheermann is much more than just a talented DJ—he's a successful producer and label owner with a clear vision: to shape the music scene in an authentic and inclusive way. In a music landscape increasingly driven by commerce and professionalism, Lucas stands out as an artist who isn't motivated by financial interests or the pursuit of fame. Instead, he intentionally uses his music as a tool to make a meaningful impact. This deep passion is evident in many aspects of his work. Based in Berlin, Lucas runs the indie label SAMMLER, where he produces his own records at a pressing plant where he also works. SAMMLER specializes in techno and exclusively releases Lucas' own productions under the artist name Scherrmann. With his second label, engörn, Lucas has created a platform for house and ambient music, giving his friends the opportunity to release their work as well.

pressing plant that he also works at. SAMMLER specializes in techno and exclusively releases
Lucas's own productions under the artist name Scheermann. His tracks regularly find their way into the sets of renowned clubs and festivals such as Berghain, Bassiani, Fusion Festival, and
Awakenings. With his second label, engörn, Lucas has created a platform for house and ambient music that provides his friends with the opportunity to release their work. Engörn’s debut release is set to be celebrated in summer 2024 and is already making waves.

With Lucas´s contribution to our ASHTRAY MONUMENTS installment he presents a 3 hour long mix that was recorded in April 24 as a warm up for Vincent Neumann and sets the mood perfectly.

ASHTRAY MONUMENTS VOL. 41 - Lucas Scheermann

Lucas Scheermann brings honesty and passion to the electronic music scene. His tracks are regularly played by artists like Ben Klock, DVS1 and Lea Occhi, reflecting his growing influence as both producer and DJ. But for Lucas, it's about more than just music—he sees it as a way to give back and shape the scene he loves.

Through his Berlin-based label SAMMLER, Lucas releases techno records pressed at the plant where he also works. His music has been heard at iconic venues like Berghain, Bassiani, and Fusion Festival. Alongside this, his second label, engörn, explores house and ambient sounds. Its debut release in summer 2024 marked a new chapter and has already turned heads.

This mix was recorded live at Lorem Ipsum in Hannover, where Lucas opened the night alongside Beste Hira, Justine Perry and Session Restore. It marked the start of his official residency and sets the tone with a deep, steady warm-up.
