We look back at Andrew Bayer's expansive catalogue to date through his Selected Works (2008 - 2020) compilation, out now on Anjunabeats.

Anjunabeats would not be the label it is today without Andrew Bayer. A unique artistic voice, he's been one of the most treasured members of our family ever since we signed Signalrunners' 'Aria Epica' in 2006. 

His 2011 debut album 'It's Artificial', described by Mixmag as “an incredible album of sophisticated electronica”, set the bar high. The 2013 follow-up, ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave’, took an even bolder creative direction, earning comparisons to DJ Shadow, Moby and Flying Lotus by XLR8R. His latest studio LP 'In My Last Life', released in 2018, drew inspiration from influences as far and wide as Kate Bush, Talk Talk, Aphex Twin and Atoms for Peace. 

GRAMMY-nominated for his work with Above & Beyond, the diversity of his production output is unrivalled. Andrew's Selected Works (2008 - 2020) compilation celebrates this. Across two mixes, you'll find 34 tracks that have defined Andrew throughout his career; spanning the intricately-constructed electronica of 'From The Earth', 'Immortal Lover' and 'Open End Resource', to explosive club tracks 'Once Lydian', 'Magitek' and 'Celestial'.

Appointed the name ‘Runic’ by fans online seeking to identify the unknown track upon an early Sebastian Ingrosso play; Axtone and Shapov give a subtle nod to fans, going with the fan-given name. Nora En Pure first caught the attention of Australian production trio RÜFÜS a few years ago when they heard her breakthrough track ‘Come With Me’. Their paths finally crossed in Sydney, where they decided to join forces to bring a new blend of instrumental house music. Nora En Pure gracefully works her signature sound into the original track, embellishing it with her unique synths, piano chords and soulful claps. Leaving Rüfüs’ soothing vocals firmly intact, this funky rendition featured in Nora En Pure’s Rüfüs Triple J takeover this month and is now available for all to enjoy via her SoundCloud.

Renowned German DJ and producer ​Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album ​Space Diver,​ out​ 24th January​ via ​Ultra Music​.
SpaceDiveri​sanemotionally-charged,ten-trackjourney,with​Brejchamasterfully guiding the listener through an array of terrain. No fewer than three tracks from the LP have already been released as singles: there’s the hypnotic, recently released

‘Lieblingsmensch’​, trance-inflicted ​‘Never Look Back’ and melodic techno roller ‘Gravity’​, which features the vocals of Berlin-based singer-songwriter ​Laura Korinth​. Things are then closed out with ​‘To The Moon And Back’​, an expertly-crafted slice of what Brejcha refers to as ​‘High-Tech Minimal’​, with the album finding that sweet spot between energetic club cuts and relaxed home listening.
Having completed a North American tour and played at a slew of Ibiza parties across 2019, ​Brejcha shows no signs of taking his foot off the gas in 2020, with festival slots at ​OFFSonar​, ​Exit Festival​ and ​Docklands​ all lined up for the next few months.
Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of ​‘Monster’ and ​‘Yellow Kitchen’ back in 2006, ​Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ​‘High-Tech Minimal’​.
