It consists of hard, "unwelcoming" layers and a raw aesthetic right from the start. With a sound reminiscent of warehouse dancefloors, it maintains its volume to deliver an "aggressively" danceable beat.

Whoever says that techno is not (socio)political nowadays, he possibly lives in another dimension. Techno environments are considered a safe space which embrace freedom and unity. Freedom of acting/doing/being and unity of all ''different'' people who dance together as one. Techno mentality is pushing towards a better world where every person from every nation/race/sexual-orientation/background beautifully and peacefully co-exists. All what techno represents, fascists/racists/sexists/nazis are against to. And all what fascists/racists/sexists/nazis represent, techno is against to.  On our dancefloors, we are progressive, feminist, anti-racist, anti-fascist, inclusive, colorful! On our dancefloors people from all backgrounds unite with diverse desires, sharing identities, love and happiness! Nazis shouldn't have a place neither on our dancefloors - nor the world in general. Some pseudo-democrats who want to defend  them (nazis) can say that words such as ''someone has no space in our world'' is a fascistic thing to say but the ''freedom of opinion'' of a group which demands homogenic states with all ''foreigners'' away from the non-natural borders some big heads decided to have, which wants less rights for women, which wants homosexual people to be punished....,well, this anti-democratic and inhuman ''freedom of opinion'' shouldn't be defended by any democracy nor exist/accepted by anyone who wants to call himself a decent human being. Democracy is based on values such as freedom, human rights and equality - all those values are broken by the nationalistic fascists and therefore no nazi can request anything about ''freedom of opinion''. You shouldn't play a game if your whole nature is against that game's rules. Period. Techno is the best way to ''bass'' away and ''kick'' out those cancerous brainless creatures from our dancefloors/lives/world.  United we stand - United we dance!

Focused on showcasing cutting-edge underground techno, Adam Beyer’s always got an eye on the future when curating Drumcode Ltd. With impressive releases on Tiga’s Twin Turbo and Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains imprint, 24-year-old Billy Turner piqued his interest with his accomplished productions that belied his tender age. 

Taking inspiration from the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Truncate and Planetary Assault Systems, Turner’s four-track debut ‘Don’t Talk To Me About Style’ was birthed in his home studio throughout 2017. The industrious Brit delivers a powerful peak-time EP of nocturnal techno that moves between different moods. The title track pops with a thick grinding bassline and trippy synth effects, before ‘Escape’ envelopes you into a subterranean world. ‘Diodes’ follows, a fantastic slice of electrifying techno that bucks like a rodeo bull.
