RUBBIO is the sound alter ego of artist Rodrigo Lopes, a Rio native now based in São Paulo. With over 10 years of experience, the DJ and producer is a reference in the electronic music scene in the interior of Paraná, where he founded labels such as THE RUBY, FLOWRS, SUNSET&DJS, E_LITE Concept and the LADO AVESSO project (only vinyl).

His sound combines Brazilian minimal tech with groovy elements of tech house, creating immersive atmospheres with strong dance floor appeal and a deep sensory narrative. In addition to his work as an artist, RUBBIO also curates iconic spaces such as Space Music Hall and Quintal Lounge, and is recognized as a strategic and visionary mind in the scene.

In its new phase, with a cinematic visual identity and dark tone, the RUBBIO project repositions itself with a more mature and disruptive aesthetic. He has shared line-ups with big names such as Boris Brejcha, Gabe, Loulou Players and Illusionize, and performed at prominent clubs and festivals throughout the South of the country and in Paraguay.
