to try and stave off music block i was working on covers of dark world from LTTP and launch base zone from sonic 3 at the same time. at a certain point i realized the songs sound kind of similar to each other and might be fun to put together. love doing these mashup covers, always a fun exercise. 

i know i havent posted a song in like 5 months, and i assure you that is because ive been extremely busy doing the absolute bare minimum of college work, playing dark souls, and brooding as i take lonely walks around the city, like tyler durden or batman or some shit.

I wanted this track to feel like joy exploding after the storm. Like the weight finally lifting, and the reminder crashing through: we’re not meant to fight alone. Horns blaring, choirs shouting, stomps and claps echoing through the street — a fight song turned into a party. A giddy, messy, human celebration that says: we made it.

For me, “Never Alone (Reprise)” is the moment where the whole record stands up together. It’s a parade through the city after the battle’s over, a reminder that even when life breaks us down, we rise again. It’s not polished, it’s not quiet, it’s not perfect. It’s a celebration of survival, of community, of love that refuses to give up.

If “Invisible Wars” began with hidden battles, “Never Alone” ends with victory in plain sight. It’s the full circle — from whisper to anthem. From isolation to unity. From fear to love.
This is the song I want ringing in people’s ears long after the album ends. Not the battles, not the noise, not the apologies. The reminder. The celebration. The truth.

...wait, what do you mean I'm late by a few hours...

Anyway, I had an idea to make full arrangement of Disco Necropolis from Skeleton Boomerang by +TEK for halloween, but everytime I touched that one... I just couldn't do it. So, I just decided to experiment, as I always do, and make an cover in style of "Shadow of The Ninja" (lovely game and soundtrack, by the way). I really hope it sounds okay and that +TEK won't kill me for this arrangement.
