Crouds are back with their latest single “Stories”, out now on Intumi Records. Known for pushing the limits of sound design and texture, the duo delivers yet another powerful release that immerses listeners in a world of raw, distorted energy. “Stories” is a track that embodies Crouds' signature style, blending brutal, crunchy soundscapes with an aggressive, driving force that leaves a lasting impact.
Accompanying the original track, the release also features three distinct remixes, each offering a unique take on the sonic intensity of “Stories”. Jellykid’s techno remix dives into industrial territory, amplifying the track’s relentless energy with pounding beats and raw textures. Monsieur Philippe’s remix takes a futuristic spin, infusing the original’s roughness with sleek, modern elements that bring a refined edge to the mix. On the other end of the spectrum, Sacha Ketterlin transforms the track into an atmospheric ambient version, stripping away the aggression to reveal a spacious, introspective soundscape.
This release continues Crouds’ exploration of sound at its extremes, much like their earlier work on the debut EP Anshan. With “Stories”, the duo once again demonstrates their mastery of crafting intense and intricate sonic narratives that resonate on both the dancefloor and in deeper, more reflective listening experiences.
