Boef en de Gelogeerde Aap zijn geboren en getogen in Tilburg. Ze maken sinds eind 2008 een kruising tussen NL-hiphop en Dubstep. In 2010 wonnen ze zowel de Muzikanten- als Publieksprijs bij de Grote Prijs van NL in de categorie hiphop. Niet snel daarna werden ze omarmd door de Fakkelteitgroep en tekenden ze een contract bij het gerenommeerde platenlabel van Kees de Koning, Top Notch. Ze hebben in totaal 3 albums uitgebracht.
