Joshua Matthew Turner, also known as JMT is a Pontiac native rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. The independent powerhouse artist has been making waves on the music scene as early as 2015 on his now secret Soundcloud account. Backing up constant numbers across every song that he released, with his most critically acclaimed song Brown Skin (feat. Shiloh Dynasty) being his largest success at 4,270 plays and counting. Since then he has started growing his music following through Apple Music, Spotify, and other platforms under his independent group Black Excellence, with the most recent release being his next album coming in late 2022 titled “The A.I. Tape”

Detroit-born and Atlanta-based, Ash Lauryn is an international DJ, curator, and cultural voice pushing the Black American roots of house and techno forward. Her acclaimed platform, Underground & Black—which began as a blog and evolved into a beloved NTS Radio show and event series, has become a cornerstone for honest storytelling and celebration within the dance community.
