This is my second impromptu. Planning on making more... I listened to the music of Philip Glass lately, read his book Words without music", and that made it clear to me that music has no boundaries. You can combine all influences, rhythm, jazz, classical music etc... That's what I tried in this piece. Hope it's an interesting piece for you and you like it, share etc.......

a little remark. I had finished the track with a recording of thunderstorm & rain, a didgeridoo jam, beat, bass, synth and additional  Dschembe percussion .. and wanted vocals :-) So I used that vocal acapella from a Ghosthack vocal pack, Melissa, Need You - coming to the point: I reduced the pace to 69.33% :-)) from 75 bpm to 52 bpm on a track in 104 BPM ! ... judge for yourself ;-) & have fun with this crazy combination of tribal and soul ... photo: Claudia Aran, unsplash - Manhattan

"I am interested in completely free patterns that when mixed unexpectedly change keys or tempo. I create an urgency to find one piece that holds the chaos together.

There are midi converters, which only understand chromatic input. There is a theremin component, which can be tuned to doric for some added drama. Meanwhile CD turntables are scratched manually and wired into the same midi note converters. Cramming input devices together makes more output unpredictability, with overloaded notes dropped. I never quite know what is happening through the complex configuration.

For me music has to move you and not fall back into the background. So, the tracks are not quantized, to keep the listener alert by hearing small rubs, imperfections, and, in turn, this forces me to learn how to make a song from core elements. I'm a fan of folk music and want to make a kind of electronic folk using my untrained background to an advantage."

Loo(p)cy is a project by Italian multi-instrumentalist Lucia Caiazza. She began studying classical piano then she fell in love with  electric guitar, becoming a rock guitarist and singer during her teenage years and beyond.
