A very young Harold Wright performs the 'Brahms Trio in A minor Op.114', with his fellow Curtis Institute class mates, 1949/50. It is fascinating to observe how much of Harold's distinctive tone and also his style of musicianship was already evident here, prior to his first orchestral position in Houston.

Among many other achievements, Artie Middleton was Principal Trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic, The Vienna State Opera and the Munich Philharmonic. He passed away on the 3rd April 2022. Arthur Harold Middleton Jrn. changed lives and enriched everybody who crossed his path. The greatest classical clarinetist to ever have walked the earth, indeed one of the greatest classical musicians of all time,  the unequalled, Harold Scull Wright, gives a lecture on clarinet articulation at the National Clarinet Clinic in Denver, 1970.
