This week, he’s delivered us an expertly assembled hour of dynamic range and high-energy flavor that’s inspired by moonlight, yet primed for warmer weather. Leading off with airy optimism and a bit of saxophone that’s reminiscent of 80’s Miami vibes, U/ME leads us through shades of contemplation brushed by a little melancholy before diving into a deep, progressive flow. A well-crafted trajectory of tracks packed with unique synth work gives the hour a cosmopolitan vibe that’s rounded out by haunting vocal samples and eclectic percussion. Stick around for the last fifteen minutes, during which a resounding club-friendly rhythm brings us to one final break of pensive piano before building to a funky, bass-laden finish. This mix is loaded with organic heavy-hitters, which makes it the perfect playlist to wake up to your work week.

Fishplant Resident Mix Episode Editer Project 16-03-2024

Juha (@mcapek) is one of Marko Capek’s project as an electronic composer, performer and producer. His music is a blend of ethereal meditative soundscapes, organic and ethnic beats and soothing frequencies, made for dance or for introspective works.

Marko Capek was raised in Zürich, Switzerland but is based in Zagreb, Croatia at the moment.

When the Heart speaks the rest plays along. Each of his songs is an interpretation of a specific moment, a transformation and a work of Love.   He loves to state that “Music is made to open up doors and portals, to trigger emotions, to fill space and time with vibration.”

Juha has started production out of love for music and composing. His style is ambiental, theatrical, psychedelic, electronic, glitchy, deep but also classical. He loves instruments, plays many of them, and in his music he mostly uses piano, different keyboards and synths, different drums, guitar, ukulele, flutes, didgeridoo, sansulas and whatever he discovers traveling.

His favourite sets he is performing at the moment called “Organica Volumes” are made of organic downtempo music and organic, melodic and progressive house with live instruments and few tracks of his own production.

Lucia T.A.- DJ Set from Motion Lab @ Rivergate Club|06.05.20

Lucia T.A was born in Yerevan, raised in Moscow - and forever in love with both cities for their rhythm, power and atmosphere.

Music entered to her life gradually and from an early age. First it was a music school and a piano class in Yerevan, and then electronic music came into her life.

In 2015, she graduated from DJ school and rushed off on a musical journey.

During this time, there were performances in 10+ countries - from clubs to festivals. A unique music library was collected for any mood. A real emotional connection with the audience was established through sound.

She also used to live abroad for some time, in the USA, Europe and Asia and absorbed various cultures and thereby dilute her scat with various interesting musical themes taken from different nations 

She continues on performing around the Globe and meanwhile she launched her own DJ school.

She dreams of someday playing back2back with Solomun :)
