The celestial bodies are all hot and bothered. They can't keep their globular clusters off one another; it's a sultry blur of solar prominences in black holes, nebulas carressing vallises, and they're so lost in passion they don't notice you observing from the closet. There's a brown dwarf in the corner. This is the essence of Planetary Bitmap.

But then, sometimes things cool off. The celestial bodies leave the room, and you're left in the aftermath with shiny, sparkling synths hanging there amdist the smokey stardust. Undulating pulses of sound swirl around, while a contemplative melody plucks away trying to understand itself, and a cheeky bass line interjects to challenge the concurrent melodic statement.

Whether a warm, funked-out, driving beat or a chill, crunchy salad of sound, it's not uncommon for Planetary Bitmap's songs to leave you with an aching wonder at our own relationship with the universe, and send us out on a sea of calm to examine our relationship with ourselves.
