En 2004, me mudé a España para vivir con mi hermana mayor, y aquí mi pasión por la música tomó un nuevo rumbo: el mundo del DJ. Mi hermana, escritora, fue DJ en el club en Rusia, antes de mudarse a España. Fue ella quien me introdujo en este arte.  
*Crecí en un hogar donde la música siempre estuvo presente, gracias a mi madre, quien tiene formación musical profesional. Por eso, además de ser DJ, también canto bien. En 2025, sigo disfrutando de mi talento, componiendo música y actuando como DJ en el género tech house.  
*Mi estilo se caracteriza por mezclar ritmos vibrantes con melodías envolventes, creando atmósferas únicas en cada set. Cada vez que subo al escenario, siento que honro mi herencia musical y mi amor por la sencillez. La música es mi lenguaje universal, y a través de ella, conecto con personas de todo el mundo.

In 2004, I moved to Spain to live with my older sister, and here my passion for music took a new direction: the world of DJing. 
My sister, a writer, was a DJ at my father's club in Russia, before moving to Spain. She was the one who introduced me to this art.
I grew up in a home where music was always present, thanks to my mother, who has professional musical training. That’s why, in addition to being a DJ, I also sing well. In 2025, I continue to enjoy my talent, composing music and performing as a DJ in the tech house genre.

Every time I step on stage, I feel that I honor my musical heritage and my love for simplicity. Music is my universal language, and through it, I connect with people from all over the world.

Lucid D is a Southern California-based DJ and producer blending tech house, melodic house, deep grooves, and techno into a signature sound that’s thrilling, soulful, and otherworldly. With over 12 years of experience, his journey began in the Bay Area—where a transformative electronic music event in 2010 sparked a passion that would evolve into a career.

Formerly known as Darnel Christoph, he built his foundation at local parties, dive bars, and eventually became a resident DJ at Audio SF through the iconic party crew Select (now All Day All Night). He’s shared the stage with industry giants like Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Cassian, Mark Knight, Green Velvet, and Laidback Luke—including unforgettable New Year’s Eve performances.

In 2020, Lucid D was personally mentored by Laidback Luke, an experience that ignited a deeper artistic transformation. By 2024, he fully stepped into his new alias: Lucid D—a dreamlike persona representing freedom, evolution, and sonic exploration.

Now, Lucid D is crafting immersive sets and productions that take listeners on a lucid journey through groove, energy, and emotion. Recent releases like “Mirage” (Mustache Crew Records) and “Free Mind” (Top Phonic Records) mark the start of a powerful new chapter.
