“Behind The Screen” by Lucidelusions is a raw and emotional hip-hop track about the weight of blind hate. 

My Twitch friend has been getting bullied in chat recently—people raiding his channel just to talk shit, call him names, call him fat and ugly, etc. He grew up with a hard life, got into a lot of trouble as a young man, but has become an amazing friend and a great single dad to his autistic son. I wrote this for him—not just calling out the people who are throwing hate, but the whole idea of it. None of us know what each of us is going through. Sometimes we sit behind a computer keyboard and screen and talk shit like there are no consequences. But sometimes, those words might be the last thing a person reads, because they were all that was needed to push them over the edge they’ve been standing on for a long time.
