1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

Sebastian: I try to live a life where I have the possibility to be reminded about my being and at the same time be able to remind other beings about their being. You could say that it's an invitation of the being to the being to be ... Might sound stupid but at the moment I feel that this is the only true meaning there is. I try to let this be the intention behind everything I do; both in my daily life, my zen practise and my creative work in the studio and when I'm performing music on stage.
Like most beings I meet on this journey I also have loads of habitual patterns and unbalances that can be a hinder in keeping this pure intention strong all the time, patterns that I'm unaware about that hinder me and my surrounding to express creativity. Being aware and see this and also gather the strength and faith to face what I most of all want to escape is part of this practise, my daily life with my wife and two children, my zen practise and my creative work in the studio are all amazing ways to do this. This is the life I have right now and I'm thankful for getting this opportunity to let freedom take place; within and outside ... Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Phonolis. Based out of Southern California, Keith Craig, aka Phonolis, has been a steadfast purveyor of the deeper side of techno for the past seven years.

Embarking on his musical voyage in the heart of 80s nightclubs in the early 2000s, Phonolis, cut his teeth spinning indie disco and electroclash tunes; playing for high energy dancefloors with a different type of sound that other local DJs in his hometown weren’t accustomed to at that time. A true disciple of the rave culture since 1998, Phonolis has traversed to iconic party scenes of Los Angeles, Detroit, Miami, London, Amsterdam, and Berlin, taking in a kaleidoscope of sounds and sensations each city has to offer.

In 2020, Phonolis set out on a new sonic odyssey, delving deep into the hypnotic realms of techno. Over the years he has become a purveyor of the genre, captivating audiences with magnetic sets with a penchant for weaving intricate rhythms and atmospheric textures. As he continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, Phonolis remains steadfast in his pursuit to collect and present the highest quality of tunes, while being a beacon of creativity and innovation, leaving an indelible mark on his local dance music community.
