Dozet is a DJ/Producer hailing from Novi Sad, Serbia. He is a part of the event collective called "Acropolis" that is dedicated to pushing the limits of Drum & Bass Music.

"Knickerbockers" is a forward-thinking take on Ghetto Slam, combining many genres and taking inspiration from Levela, Imanu and Buunshin. The ugly foghorn sounds were made by using a sound from a real ship horn and combining it with a foghorn sample.

This track is part of Nu Kvlture's 2nd compilation EP "Vol.2" which features tunes from up to 40 artists and spanning between 100-170bpm. This EP has done the rounds from artists such as LCY, A.Fruit, Gremlinz as well as shows on Rinse FM & Boiler Room.

excess return to the fray with the sophomore instalment of their charity VA series -ANY BPM. The record delivers upon the excess mantra & assembles bassy cuts of every flavour, across a glistening tracklist featuring nineteen unique producers from across the globe. The project was undertaken in support of Fareshare, a UK based charity that combats food poverty across the country.
In our time of spiralling inflation, the burgeoning cost of living crisis has made food poverty a daunting reality for so many. excess will donate all profits from the sales of this project to Fareshare, to make what difference we can to those in need during a time of unprecedented difficulty.
Contributing to this cause are a host of exciting artists, across a wide spectrum of underground bass music genres. Moving from ambient 2-step and bouncy UK funky rhythms, to raucous 4x4 grime and turbo jungle, this record navigates every corner of the bass music landscape, without stopping to take a breath. Since 2011, Simon Hafner aka Sun People from Graz has been merging footwork, juke, jungle and UK hardcore influences to create his own distinctive sound. With releases on labels like Exit, Alphacut, Rua Sound and Through These Eyes, he has made a name for himself in the international 160 bpm scene over the years. In addition to remix jobs and his own productions, Simon also pursues his musically eclectic vision on a highly rated four-weekly radio show on London's Sub.FM.

On his EP The Walls, released in 2020 on Defrostatica, he devoted himself to early Chicago house music as well as European proto-hardcore of the 80s and the turbo sound championed by the likes of Fracture, Itoa and BSN Posse.

In 2022, Sun People presents a refined version of high-speed breakbeat minimalism, drawing further from bleep, dub and even industrial techno, but still with optimistic depth. From the cold bleep-influenced opener Into The New to the jungle-tekno track Overtoom and the tribalism of State of Flux, Sun People builds its own hypnotic approach to captivate dancers. Amaterasu marks the soulful coda and gives us the opportunity to take a breath.
