anyway for those who don't know this, but our guitar god passed away, so this band will never be playing any live shows but i´m (fimpen) gonna keep on doing a couple of songs just to make the diseased ones dream for this project to be completed and released in a tiny volume when those tracks are ready to be put on disc!

En principio de los años 90 Omar Cuello y Alí Miranda comienzan a ensayar en un estudio capitalino con la intención de dar forma a un sueño que ambos compartían, desde mucho antes de aprender a ejecutar sus respectivos instrumentos, tener una banda agresiva, rápida y brutal
Lo que comenzara como un dúo llamado MEGATHERION, posteriormente iba a ser conocido como Necrófago. La banda surgió teniendo como primera  alineación la siguiente: Alberto Urbina (voz), Ali Miranda (Guitarra), Franklin Berroteran (Bajo)(Cantante de Stratuz) y Omar Cuello (Bateria), luego de un tiempo sale Alberto Urbina y lo reemplaza Argenis Dorta. Marcados bajo la influencia de Heavy, Thrash y Grindcore y con tan solo dos conciertos y una cinta grabada en vivo titulada “Del más Allá” (1991), fueron escogidos para telonear en lo que seria su tercera presentación, a la banda  de florida MALEVOLENT CREATION; donde se reafirmaron como una maquina de agresión sonora.
Luego de un tiempo sin grabar dieron vida a lo que seria su segundo demo titulado “Evil Light” (1994) en la casa disquera GRABACIONES ALTERNATIVAS.
A mediados del año 1996 la banda sufre una notada división entre sus integrantes, por este mismo tiempo Alí Miranda, Franklin Zambrano y Franklin Berroteran fundan una banda de metal industrial llamada NIHIL, la cual grabó un demo.
Ya para el año 2000 Argenis Dorta y Alí miranda reintegran nuevamente a Necrófago con Marcos en el bajo (Cantante Post-Mortem) haciendo un reencuentro en el año 2006 junto a las bandas Natastor y Post-Mortem.
Actualmente Necrofago se encuentra conformado por: Joel Miranda, Alí Miranda y Siro Tagliaferro   y se preparan para lo que va a ser su nuevo trabajo discográfico en formato Ep titulado "UNDERBRED", nuevos temas, mucho mas Death metal hecho en casa, luego de varios años de ausencia dentro de la movida... del metal nacional...
