Exclusive Coeus 'Forgotten Love'

Carefully saved within biological circuits that are activated by networks of nerve cells humans gain access to their memory, and therewith to their past, to their knowledge, to colored images of close people, to their lives. Serbian producer Coeus actived his memory of a 'Forgotten Love' for the first release of shortly founded Parisian label Mimesis. The three tracker, consisting of the EP's name giving track 'Forgotten Love', 'Atlantis' and 'Gravity', depicts hidden feelings in space at a musical level. 'Forgotten Love' overwhelms its listeners with a dark fundamental tone that's not taking the track's lead but is certainly responsible for the undertone. The latter is worked out by the synth-chords that deliver a memorable melody that can easily be recalled as its saved within short time in the back of our heads, in our memory, so it is not forgotten but present.

Coeus' EP 'Forgotten Love' will be released February 19th, 2019 on Mimesis.

[Release Note]
Following 2018's first edition, Art Vibes goes into a cold and hypnotic mood for Winter Vibes second volume. We put together an eclectic collection blending deep & progressive grooves.

Starting off this compilation right with ‘Kebenaran' from Ukrainian producer Eternal Moment. The production is a slow and deep track with shamanic-like vocals and plucky sounds. Atmosphere wise, the artist is bringing the listener to a mystical tribal gathering somewhere in India…

Armenian producer Teom makes his debut on Art Vibes with ‘Juto'. It's fascinating how work has been done on percussions; from the sound design to their layering. It sounds organic and somehow liquid. While the emphasis is not on instruments and melodies, some distinct traditional sounds can be heard in the background and during the break, giving color and value to this timeless composition.

Parisian pianist and producer HaZa is back with ‘Hope', a melodic pépite building up from a bleak stage to an euphoric, almost joyful harmony. There is no doubt HaZa has succeeded at describing the complex modalities of hope as conceptualized by humans.

Cairo-based British producer Shunus joins the compilation with ‘Ein' and its gliding sounds. Built on a deep rhythmic section, the track is fresh and catchy. It has just the right amount of swing and grooves, leading naturally to an urge to dance.

Eric Lune, previously producing as Kindred, is an Australian artist who is joining Art Vibes with a progressive and melodic piece: Banshee. Unveiling its subtleties with each new listen, Banshee perfectly describes the sound signature of Eric Lune and his new artistic direction.

'Game Field' is the latest craft of french producer Axom. Throughout the track, crazy synth arpeggios and choir like vocals take the lead over charming chord progressions, eventually leading into heavy minimal drops. Orchestration is precise and smartly done, giving depth and context to the piece.

Nomads' Exit opens with a detuned synth echoing into a big space, setting an authentic scenery. The main arpeggiated synthesizer keeps building up in the background, adopting various patterns and speeds. Its climax is reached during an intense drop where it presents even more morphing and movement.

8-Bit Culprit's 'Artemis' sets a dark and melancholic atmosphere. The indian producer has his own magical way of creating dancefloor oriented tracks, evolving in a melodic and groove heavy techno.

Carlo Whale makes his return on Manual Music after debuting on the label little over a year ago with his '+5st' track which ultimately got licensed to Steyoyoke. He also remixed Philipp Wolf's 'Chisel' single for the label last year and made an appearance as part of the Lost Languages project on their MNL subsidiary.

The Italian artist has made a strong name for himself with releases on labels such as Einmusika, EIN2, Dear Deer, Lauter Unflug, Tulipa and many others. His productions are always mature, melodic and warm, filled with emotion and feels. This double A-sided release on Manual Music, featuring the songs 'Trust' and 'Midnight' is no different and truly showcases the raw talent that Carlo Whale possesses.

German producer who has so far released his music at such world renowned imprints as Steve Bug's Pokerflat, fryhide curated by HOSH, John Digweed's Bedrock which are the main but far not all on Tim's achievements list. Tim's remix is a steady filler of electric filtered bass which comes as a bone of this brilliant version.
Progressive nature of 'Dioxide' with a dramatic melodies leads us to Eastern flavored 'Root'.

Spring season is open for Anathema Records, welcoming the Netherlands' duo Mononoid (Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy) with their label debut EP - ‘Ballata'. Velika uspješnica zagrebačke kantautorice Sare Renar, pjesma ‘Tišina’, upravo je pod etiketom Aquarius Recordsa objavljena u jednom novom, modernom i za hrvatske prilike zapravo prilično nesvakidašnjem izdanju. 

Remix je to sve uspješnijeg splitskog producentskog i DJ dvojca Outcome, snimljen ove godine u njihovom studiju i uspješno proteklih mjeseci testiran na brojnim hrvatskim i inozemnim plesnim podijima.
