The talented trio of Sonic Union, Eleven Sins & Forniva, who pilot the good ship Lowbit, deliver the labels next release with this long-awaited full-length album Ascension.

The first track Laguna set a mysterious tone, cleansing the musical palate for the rich feast it is about to experience, with tropical moods and arpeggiated patterns complimenting the shuffling drums.

Accelerate bursts out of the blocks with a full-blooded kick and ethereal synths combining to develop the deep sense of mystery and intrigue even further. The tension is rising....

Duplicate rises up to cut through the mystery and sees the producers move into more familiar territory. Driving progressive bass and swaggering drums open the way for glorious pads and breakbeats to take centre stage in the breakdown, a truly memorable moment.

The pace then slows with Scalamaria, which will hypnotise all that listen. Resonating drums and techno stabs are used as aural weapons, taking control and delivering an absorbing melodic journey.

Freedom takes us on a nostalgic trip down the progressive highway with melancholy stabs and bass driven key changes creating some magical moments.

Atomic explodes onto the sonic spectrum next and certainly lives up to its name. A throbbing bassline, moody riffs and a relentless, slamming kick drum detonate in harmony, as robotic vocals weave in and out expertly.

The Robot twists and turns with multiple eighties synths working together to create a dystopian, but uplifting space opera.

Havoc fizzes and pops through the gears. The mighty clap erupts and driving drums lead us towards to an unforgettable riff, awash with drama. As the elements fuse together a spellbinding scene unfolds, blurring the boundaries between techno and indie dance in glorious fashion.

The Drive heads back into more familiar deep, melodic and progressive territory with the rolling bassline and multiple synth riffs weaving together in harmony, locking the listener into the groove.

The album closes with Dreaming. Ethereal synths, techno pads and expertly programmed toms deliver a glittering, euphoric final moment.

This album showcases the experience and endless talent that this trio of producers have in their locker. It also demonstrates their versatility as they move from progressive and melodic sounds through to indie dance, techno and breaks. Ascension is a fitting name for a cutting-edge piece of work that will lift the listener to another level.

Twenty2 - Cariño - PERCOMANIA. Twenty2 is a collective project of two unique minds hailing from Leeds UK. Over the past 3 years, the two have been crafting a unique and explosive concoction of exciting, electronically licked house & techno music.

Drawing influences from a vast array of electronic music, Twenty2 have spent a long time perfecting their sound. The self confessed music obsessives refuse to take the listener down the obvious routes, always looking to groove as a start point.

Perco Mania is a new label from Sabb and Dimitri Nakov.
Sabb needs little introduction. Heavily charted artist and remixer on Beatport and RA with numerous releases on Saved, Moon Harbour, Noir and his own SK Supreme. 

Dimitri has been traveling the globe as a DJ and A&R since 1997, especially present in Brazil and Ibiza, co-creator and presided at Never Say Never at Ushuaia with Sasha, while releasing with Saved, Suara, Selador & Bedrock.

Cariño and Lurking Outside are deep and wonderful dance floor tracks with a driving tech house remix by Dimitri Nakov.

Marc DePulse teams up with Several Definitions to deliver the latest Definition:Music release, a 3-track EP titled "Black Spider" including a stunning Lee Van Dowski remix. The boys first show us how to groove with "Amphibia", a deep and gritty track that drives hard and fast through the dark night. Lee van Dowski then gives the track a harder edge and drowns it in deep techno. His no nonsense remix steams forward with full force as you begin to lose control. This is late night entertainment at its finest. Hot on the tails is the title track, "Black Spider", which again, drives deep and hard as the electricity in the air thickens and the track opens the roof and sets the stars on fire. They say save the best for last, well this is it.

blaktone is back to Sincopat after their successful appearance in our BeenTouched series. Kepler Effect is the name of the EP including three original tracks by the talented duo from St. Petersburgh plus a solid by remix by techno heroes Teenage Mutants.
The opening track 'Definition of Love' is a crazy and organic burner that will leave the club completely devastated. It is a non-stop track where the sinister items and the hypnotic mood are presented in a perfect balance. Teenage Mutants takes the track to their perspective and offer another win that proves the talent of this German duo.'Uma I' is also a huge bomb for the dancefloor with the surprising synth after the breakdown. 'Last Train' is a delicate piece that takes to the next level the vocal electronic music, and a proof of this is the fantastic closing with the Ambient Mix.

The reflective and psychedelic dream world of Footprintz debut LP ‘Escape Yourself’ is fully unleashed on the Visionquest imprint this March and next single ‘Uncertain Change’ is one of the twelve glowing examples of the duos’ esteemed sonic and lyrical wonder. Reworked here by two of dance music’s finest auteurs, Audion aka Matthew Dear and Maceo Plex ride in full effect.

With a distinct coming of age theme, ‘Uncertain Change’ is a perfect slice of dreamy synth-pop. Anchored by a powerful bassline, uplifting melodies inflected with new wave nostalgia blend into softly spoken vocals heavy with melancholy as the underlying sense of what it feels like to be young and unsure is ever present. Warped electric guitar strums add to a creeping darkness, but this is kept at bay by an overriding warmth and depth of soul that filters through. ‘Uncertain Change’ will transport the listener to an age of innocence.

The ‘Maceo Plex Reconception’ is endowed with the producers signature swing. Tailored for the disco, skipping pendulum beats and a heavier bass beat underpin the in tact phrasing of the original song leading up to a breakdown and powerful bassline drop.

In The ‘Audion Loves You Mix’ Mathew Dear in his Audion guise deconstructs the song and pieces it back together with an entirely transformative minimal tapestry of sounds. An epic reimagining of sparse electronic bleeps and warped vocals build into a majestic framework of fizzing tension and textured soundscapes. Ultimately remnants of the original melody fuse with Audion’s epic groove as the track surges towards an optimistic end.
