Music is a beautiful gift and I love it.  The first time I saw a DJ seamlessly mix 2 records together while people danced to beat on the floor, my mind exploded with the possibilities.  That was around 1994.

I started DJing soon after that and by 1998, I was going to raves and putting out mixes as often as I could afford. 

30 years later, I still love the music and enjoy mixing and hearing a good set.  I hope the music I share with you here will inspire you to listen and keep coming back.

After the loss of our teenage son, I really struggled to find inspiration and meaning in all aspects of life. Continuously challenged by all the emotions that come through after a loss. I wanted to create because that was the only thing that I could ever do in life to express myself adequately. But I felt guilt for wanting to express myself through music - I didn’t give myself permission. 

Then in a series of dreams about our son, I began to feel encouragement and hope and, eventually, gave myself permission to create again. Throughout the writing and production process a flood of emotions was released. I wrote ‘Is There Gold’ as a love song of hope to my family. This process has been a journey in healing and rekindling the fire for living. I believe that so many who have experienced a great loss can understand and relate to this.
