By now @SHALT's pretty much a @do-the-astral-plane legend, in our humble opinion. 

His early releases via the LA-founded label and platform, such as 2016's 'Acheron' or 'Inertia', set forth his musical mission statement (of sorts) as he unlocked new ways to manipulate sound design for a slew of club-centric environments. 

That's not to say he's a 'club-with-a-capital-c' producer who only caters to the rave, however. In fact, as evidenced on his 2018 full-length 'Seraphim' (an album debut for both him and the label) as well as on his forthcoming EP 'Ochre Flood', SHALT provides listeners with compelling music to glide through life to sans any club completely. Which is what we all want really, right? Soundtracks to our lives?

So be it functional, bass-heavy tunes built with scale, physicality and technological prowess (and totally destined for front left ravers) or earthier, textured and subdued genre-less tracks that appeal in those post-club contemplation moments, it's here at the meeting point between his concepts and interests that SHALT thrives. 'Ochre Flood', perhaps, the best example of this.

Premiere: SHALT 'Shudder'

DECISIONS celebrates 5 years of operation with 15 tracks of carefully orchestrated chaos by family, friends and new faces.

Corin Ileto [CORIN] is a Filipina-Australian producer, composer and performer working in the field of performance art, sound design, theatre and club spaces. In her compositions, traditional forms merge with hyper-digital sounds to create new imaginary realms. Drawing from a background in classical piano, her live performances encompass technical configurations executed with equal parts emotion and cold precision.
Her debut album ‘Manifest’ (Bedouin Records, 2019) was inspired by the synthetic sounds and theoretical notions found in modern iterations of the club, re-framed to fit within a hyper-real zone that encompasses late romantic opera and orchestral music.
She is a member of Club Ate, a Sydney based collective celebrating contemporary voices in the queer Asia-Pacific community.

CORIN's compilation contribution 'Stealth' is a lushly textured slice of broken EBM.

Consequences finds kindred spirits in artists unapologetically journeying their own spirals, resulting in a lively multitude of rhythm, sound design and song shapes defying genre and tempo. The compilation seeks to round off a difficult and disruptive year on a generative, community-oriented note.

"we recorded this jam in spooky-j’s basement on a thursday afternoon. hot in da club is what we call the spooky shit house band, and it consists broadly speaking of spooky on the drums, ekhe on synthcussion and pq on harmonic duties. this particular performance came in the midst of an intense week of practicing for a show we had that weekend.

the hot in da club ethos is to press play on our sequencers with no pre-planning and see what happens. this often leads to off-kilter, atonal percussive madness because that’s what we’re all into. something we’ve been experimenting with recently is throwing vocals into the mix, so get ready to hear jacob not knowing what to say throughout this piece. also watch out for a surprise appearance from hugo (@hugonormalstuff) with his carioca bars towards the end."
