Two very progressive and deep tracks with subtle bass tones, subtle drum programming, cleverly cut samples and intricate chord progressions, building an energetic breakdown of elements to take them into deeper territory, fused chords underpinned by signature bass patterns, varied melodies that move in and out of the stereo field, with a lot of feeling and very catchy.....

The setting was stunning: lake view, huge natural stonewalls, caves, right in the middle of the small town of Warwick, Québec. What a night!! I haven't played long sets like this one for a while. Following Colyn’s standout track on the Realm Of Consciousness Pt.IV compilation, we see the full breadth of his scope as a producer on his first EP for the label.

The soaring synth lines and vocal of title track ‘Resolve’ are a bold statement, worthy of the most epic moments in a DJ set. ‘Eriador’ is comparatively restrained, with gently rolling drums and unusual flourishes. ‘Exchange’ and ‘Gravity’ distil euphoric elements into deeply moving techno cuts to fit the Afterlife mould.
