Alternately harnessing the raw power of tech-inflected dnb and the impressionistic sophistication of dub, his set at the Unsound Closing Party at 89 was a game of tempo division and multiplication, featuring stuttering drum patterns and sludgy dancehall.

English description: 
This album is made of mere loops, reworked, resampled, reshaped and recorded in a constant process of reproduction of a non-identical material that has never been the same. It concentrates my latest ways of musicking and the results of my research as a PhD student, in philosophy. Thus, beyond the concept of reality, which is here said to be obsolete, i.e out of any thing consistent, I tried to focus on a reproduction without any proper product to reproduce. It follows a long tradition of sampling, looping, mixing in many genres in electronic music, that first weren’t genres - because they first blurred all the boundaries of their time. But without reality, there is not nothing either. There are still lots of meanings, emotions, relationships and trajectories, also powers we recognise as such. There are fictions, with different strengths that we hate, ignore or love. 

I used combined samples of some tracks mixed with distorted accordion for the 1st track, and only reshaped recordings of my uncle and his friends playing accordion, sax, & clarinette with effects for the 2nd one, for which even kicks are combinations of different layered recordings of a sax. 
These two tracks were firstly live recordings that have been arranged and mixed afterwards in the purpose of being released : the 1st one on October the 28th and the 2nd one on Decembre the 29th 2023.

Description française : 
Cet album est fait de simples boucles enregistrées, retravaillées, déformées, re-formées, ré-enregistrées dans un processus constant de reproduction au non-identique d’un matériau qui n’a d’ailleurs jamais été le même. Il réunit les résultats de mes dernières manières de faire de la musique et ceux de mes recherches dans le cadre de mon doctorat en philosophie. Au-delà du concept de réalité, qui est obsolète, c’est-à-dire sans aucune chose de pertinente, j’ai essayé d’explorer cette reproduction sans produit à reproduire à proprement parler - suivant ainsi une longue tradition de sampling, de looping et d’arrangements, propre à beaucoup de genres de musique électronique, bien qu’ils n’aient d’abord pas été des genres - parce qu’ils brouillaient alors toutes les frontières de leur temps. Mais sans réalité, il n’y a pas non plus rien, parce qu’il y a beaucoup de sens, d’émotions, de pouvoirs que l’on reconnaît comme tels – il y a des fictions, avec différentes puissances, qu’on hait, qu’on ignore ou qu’on aime. 

Pour le premier morceau, j’ai utilisé des samples juxtaposés et modifiés de quelques morceaux avec des boucles d’accordéon distordus. Pour le second, j’ai utilisé des boucles reconstituées à partir d’enregistrements de mon oncle et quelques-uns de ses amis jouant de l’accordéon, du saxo et de la clarinette, sous effets - pour ce morceau, même les kicks sont formés de différents enregistrements de saxo recombinés. Ces deux morceaux ont d’abord été des enregistrements que j’ai ensuite retravaillés et mixés en vue de les sortir : le premier le 28 octobre 2023 et le second le 29 décembre 2023.

Apropos Tracks, hinter dem heutigen Act steht auch das Leipziger Non-Profit Microlabel ADVENTUROUS MUSIC, welches sich auf experimentelle Audio und Visual spezialisiert hat - unbedingt mal vorbeischauen bzw -lesen, denn dort ist auch das Zuhause vom neuen "EX! Magazin for Experimental Art"!
