Meta Zen closing out the Silent Disco at WTF 2017 - If you are not familiar with Silent Discos, there are multiple djs playing and dancers get to choose which channel they listen to. There were two other dj's playing- I was the blue channel as we closed out the stage on the last night. I got some great feedback... and the picture speaks for itself. Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Sacht und sanft, nicht langsam, sondern stetig – Mantra halt. So lassen die zweien von dreien heut ganz weit wach die Klopfgeister aus dem Gebälk. @NinzeOkaxy haben nicht nur Zeit, auch noch mehr Raum. Das hört man gerne.

Meta Zen - Ethereal Thursdays (2017 - 11 - 16)

One of my resident DJ sets opening up for Craftal, Chrome Wolves, and Buku.  The night went off,- every artist put together a great set
However, I feel this might be some of my best work yet, mashing, looping, and mixing through your inner and outer cosmos.... Honestly, I'm excited to keep pushing my limits.

So this mix is not for the faint of heart, its some of the hardest, filthiest, most psychedelic music I have in my arsenal.  It is probably best suited for your super hyphee house party or gym time.  I'm gonna have to dig deep for my next set. 

Thanks for all your love and supportt, fam.  I keep getting a lot of love for what I do.   Special thanks to Joseph and Stephen who made me a part of this team.  Honored to be a resident DJ for Rose Entertainment / Metta. shows here in Pdx.

Playa Mermejita

@oliverschories shows off his fluidity in our first Foxcast of 2018 with a fantastic DJ mix ahead of his anticipated live set for our Cityfox Experience on April 14th at Avant Gardner Brooklyn (https://bit.ly/2ILF4I1). 

Inside the mix, Oliver artfully transitions from the moody and melodic to the ebullient and techier side of house, using each minute to carefully showcase his range. We find ourselves weaving through ruminative tracks that lull us into a sense of feeling even-keeled, the calm before the storm. The latter half of the mix dives into dance floor movers and shakers, picking up the pace and unleashing raw energy in a whirlwind whilst adding a poignant political message in one of the overlaid vocals. At the end however, Oliver gently sets us down once more on solid ground, returning the listener once more to a meditative state.  

We have been fans of his productions for quite some time - starting with his second album "EXIT" released in 2013 - and are happy to have him on board April 14th showcasing his live set. The Hamburg-based producer and DJ has always had a knack for eliciting deeper emotions through his productions and effortlessly transferring that ability to his DJ sets. We cannot wait to experience this first-hand during his specially prepared live set for us.
