hey guys this is me doing blackbird by The Beatles off their album The Beatles, also known as the White Album. it's quite a  hard song for me to play but hopefully you'll like it :) this was a request as all my covers have been so far.

follow the rainbow to a kinder place

I made a dumb song for a girl (so typical) using my little piano and some other things.

We begin with the travelling stranger. He walks motionless against the grandeur of those vast desert plains. A scintilla of life, flickering sporadically in a sea of sanguine sand. 

By day he rests in whatever shade is available, by night, he follows the crux south, circumspect of the dingos and kangaroos with whom he shares this vast outback. 

He bivouacs by a patch of spinifex, lips cracked and throat parched dry, he dreams of water. He wakes to rain; lifting his widened mouth to catch, he sluices his incarnadined skin with the rain left uncaught. His canteen replete with the water from a nearby puddle of dirty water, he sets off South once more. 

He’s taken a good two-hundred thousand steps, and two hundred thousand more lie traced-out before him. Any fool could tell you his chances of survival are slim; but it takes true human grit to disregard all such reason. 

So what sets man apart from God’s other creatures here in this Tellurian domain? It’s that he can believe in something beyond what the senses detect. He can take a number like two-score times ten quarce, and ignore its immensity in size, treating each step of the journey with the same enthusiasm most would reserve only for the final few. One does not achieve great goals by focusing on the whole. It is those small infinitesimal steps that intertwine and climb towards the finished product. 

The indolent among us will ignore these indivisible steps because of their sheer number; they see the whole and wish to have it all at once. In spite of this, the universe shall forever dictate that the proverbial elephant must be digested one bite at a time. It‘s only in this fashion that we can ever amount to true greatness.
