Comecei a traduzir, escutamos mil versões e no dia seguinte apareceu um cachorrinho preto e esquálido na porta da nossa casa. (Adotamos de imediato esse Blackdoguinho.) Ficou assim, porque no nosso bairro tem muito anu preto:

Fall is fast approaching on the horizon, the leaves are starting their colorful journey as a chill grips the air at night. I love this time of year, as I walk through Brooklyn, seeing all the changes certainly makes one stop and appreciate how beautiful this city can be.

Always loved this McCartney song.  My voice is healthy enough to sing it again and I love to play it.  It's pretty much the original format with a little guitar solo in the middle... just because.

Response to Smiling Dog project 
Mixed media piece of Sound and cardboard sculpture

The structure is light and flimsy held together with tape, both a malleable & vulnerable material. Hand painted, handmade and imperfect.

The montage of photos display snapshots of my preparing process.

Overall it's bright and colourful to denote joy and fun engaging with participants. There are tools represented from my studio including bubbles which is something 'new' I've added to my creative toolkit.

On the other side of the structure is a game with numbered openings and an array of objects signify that we don't know what life can throw at us.

The sound piece is of me as an Artist working in studio, picking up the sounds of drawing, folding paper, cutting, preparing the materials, making the structure, a clock ticking, nature, birdsong, reflecting with walking, humming,  & keyboard playing.

An invitation:
the audience are invited to blow some bubbles, write or draw a symbol or sketch, on a post-it, place it on the box, or scrunch it up, throw it in one of the openings.
