“Standing Still is Still Moving” is based on the relationship between sound and movement (both figuratively and physically), making us aware of how layers of everyday activities and thoughts can produce a symphony of complex sounds, if we listen closely. The field recordings of active experiences began with my personal orbit and ended with the farthest thing outside my personal universe.

For solo piano, inspired by the Vietnamese monk, Thich Nhat Hanh's saying "flow like a river...not a drop of water." 

Calligraphy by shodo artist, Masako Inkyo and tells a Buddhist poem from 1212:
 "Though the river's current never fails, the water passing, moment by moment, is never the same. Where the current pools, bubbles form on the surface, bursting and disappearing as others rise to replace them, none lasting long. In this world, people and their dwelling places are like that, always changing. "
