Marky Lyrical is an inspired soulful reggae singer based in Sutton, Canada. His recent work includes 2022 singles "Herbman Ting" and “River to Pray” in collaboration with House of Riddim out of Austria, followed by works with Fire Connection Records (France, UK), notably, “Run Run Run” (2024) and “My Joy”, making an impact in Europe and beyond. 

With “Babylon Walls”, Marky begins his work with Akashic Records (USA) and King Alpha (UK). He is certain to make an impact with the international audience as a versatile and innovative reggae singer worthy of distinction.

Llevaba tiempo queriendo hacer un tema que recrease el sonido de los instrumentos midi característico del dub que se hizo en el Reino Unido durante los años 90.

MILITANT TUNE es el resultado de esa experimentación: Un tema que evoca la crudeza y la energía inagotable del UK Dub de los 90, con líneas de bajo demoledoras, delays infinitos y un pulso que no deja respiro. MILITANT TUNE nace con espíritu combativo, como un recordatorio de que el sonido sigue siendo herramienta de resistencia y comunidad.

Con este tema, quiero reafirmar mi compromiso con la cultura dub y su raíz militante: música hecha para sacudir cuerpos, despertar conciencias y mantener viva la llama que conecta generaciones.
