A great lively tune in orchestral style. My interpretation of the Andre Rieu favourite introduction to his concerts, the Radetzky March by Johann Strauss, played by myself on Roland FR-8x accordion, all sounds as played live at the time on the instrument and no overdubbing.

Maurice Jarre wrote “Lara’s Theme”  for the David Lean film, Dr. Zhivago and it is heard frequently (too frequently, Jarre thought) in the 1965 movie.  Later, lyrics were added and it became better known as “Somewhere My Love”.
 
For the movie, David Lean hired amateur balalaika players from Russian Orthodox churches in Los Angeles but they could not read written music and could learn only 16 bars of music at a time.  In desperation, a Philadelphia street musician was auditioned over the phone and then brought into a recording studio.

There is a joke about an old woman who went to see "Dr. Zhivago" when it came out.  When she was told the high price of the ticket, she exclaimed, "What? Is he a specialist?"
