In 1995 he started his first label Toothpick. 1997 he founded Kraak with some intervals active there upto 2015. 
Since 2016 he´s running Knotwilg which is the main focus. Not only as label but also as a kind of old-school mail-order.
Knotwilg records is a label that acts as a personal portal to accessible experimental music, independent of any particular movement or era. Releasing music and distributing like-minded artists in a contemporary
DIY style. Co-curating concerts, events and the annual Knotwilg festival.

« This time last year I was focusing on my travel to Japan. Never thought it'd sound so unreal one year later. Most of the time I was travelling with 10 kilo records on my back, to sell and trade, and sometimes I had to take secondary subway lines to non-touristic areas. Seeking record shops in Japan can be a tough task, because they're often hidden into buildings with only a small store sign. You can easily spend 10 minutes finding the entrance while being at the correct address. Sometimes I met an owner who knew my record label. It's always special to meet someone who appreciates your work that far away from home. It gives you the energy to go on. »
