Everything inside and around us, be that specific qualities of our mind, creative talents, moments of inspiration, emotional waves, the location we were born or live in, people and objects we interact with, jobs and hobbies we choose, etc., represent a variety of resources that are always near us and available, and all we need to do is to look within ourselves in order to find what we need. Individual evolution, self-actualization and raising own vibrations through creative expression, personal fulfilment and surrendering to the flow of life have taken over from the outdated strategies of survival and struggle – we now all live in the world where the impossible has become possible, pure intentions are winning over forced choices, desires and fears, openness, kindness and creative mindset are setting a new standard in society. Our No. 222 today comes from an artist who has been accompanying me musically more or less continuously for about 2 years. To overhear him is basically pretty really hard. Not only because of his high output and commitment, but especially because of the high quality that can be found in all his mixes. So is the case with ours.

We are talking about kośa who also runs the well-known label Kosa which preferably stands for experimental downtempo that can be classified somewhere between world music and slow deep house. As a solo artist Tarun is very successful on the road. Among other things, he has played at the well-known Berlin club Kater Blau several times.

His recorded mix begins like an ode to the Bronx of the 80s when hip hop played with oriental music elements. As the tape progresses, it becomes deeper and more driving, without losing its slow character. In the process, he reveals a wide range of subgenres...Towards the end, Tarun returns to the starting point, skillfully closing the circle. In his set, he provides equal amounts of release and tension. A perfect formula for an easy-going, danceable afterhour. Fasten your seatbelts...

Unsere Nr. 222 kommt heute von einem Künstler, der mich seit ungefähr 2 Jahren mehr oder weniger ununterbrochen musikalisch begleitet. Ihn zu überhören ist im Grund ziemlich wirklich schwer. Nicht nur auf Grund seines hohen Outputs und Engagement, sondern vor allem wegen der hohen Qualität, die sich in all seinen Mixen wiederfindet. So auch bei unserem. 

Die Rede ist von kośa der zudem das bekannte Label Kosa betreibt welches vorzugsweise für experimentellen Downtempo steht, der sich irgendwo zwischen Worldmusic und slowen Deep House einordnen lässt. Als Solokünstler ist Tarun überaus erfolgreich unterwegs. So bespielete er unter anderem den bekannten Berliner Club Kater Blau bereits mehrere Male.

Sein eingespielter Mix beginnt wie eine Ode an die Bronx der 80er als der Hip Hop mit orientalischen Musikelementen spielte. Im weiteren Verlauf wird das Tape immer deeper und treibender, ohne seinen slowen Charakter zur verlieren. Dabei offenbart er eine große Bandbreite von Untergenren…Gegen Ende kehrt Tarun wieder zum  Ausgangspunkt zurück und schließt somit gekonnt den Kreis. " Ahoy! I'm living at the baltic sea coast in germany and since my childhood i'm playing the saxophone in several live combos. But a decade ago I also fell in love with electronic music. I like it smooth, I like it slow, I like it driving and drifting. I love to spread my vibe daytime on music festivals, sharing storytelling dj sets and of course still love jammin the saxophone with soulfoul musicians. Once in a while I combine and make live saxophone Dj sets.

The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) and this rāga comes from the original shaman, someone whose music I have admired for a long time and have supported his music in a lot, LOT of my sets, its an absolute pleasure and delight to present to you the deeep @andreas-pfeiffer aka prem sangeet or simply sangeet.

Sangeet is an experienced DJ and music producer since more then 30 years, well known for combining tribal melodic grooves full of multi cultured influence that lifts up.
Since 2017 he found his new musical home in the global downtempo family, releasing his music on labels like MŎNɅDɅ, Lump Records, Deep Bali Records, Bercana Music, Shango Records, Pipe & Pochet and Arts Vibes Music.

Luca Cataldo (Ka:lu) is a multi-disciplinary artist that focuses his works on audiovisual installation, big projections, vjing, music production and djing.

Through his arts, as in music, he always tries to express the belief into sounds as a universal language, a way to get in meditation, a tool to understand where we are coming from, where we are, where we are going. Any of his creations always have a story behind that aims to deliver aesthetic journeys providing immersive experiences for heterogeneous audiences.
