In 1978 Luigi #2 recorded and released an LP on vinyl ‘Feeling the Ceiling’ which John Peel played on his BBC Radio One show, dubbing us ‘a bunch of itinerant waiters from Leeds’.

In 1979 Duncan left his own band! 'Luigi' oddly, carried on briefly... adding keyboards and no longer following Duncan’s original concept of the music being 'all about two harmony guitars'. That incarnation mostly played Duncan's compositions (adding a few of their own eventually) but gradually called it a day.
In 2013 Duncan & Geoff reformed Luigi for a reunion gig at TJ’s in Leeds to a capacity audience of 275 invited guests. Also, that year, Duncan & Geoff  re-recorded the original LP material plus as much more of Dunx Luigi compositions (that had never been recorded before) - released as a double CD set in 2014
Luigi #6 have now emerged (and still gigs occasionally!) and are working on a follow up CD of new material! Watch this space! 
Luigi #6 are Duncan & Sam Hirst on guitars, Martin Ward on bass, Berni Gilmore on drums and Steve Foster as a multi-instrumentalist! All five of the band contribute on vocals!
