I know the art isn't that great, but I really wanted to upload this.
I don't know why, but this song simultaneously captures how bad the snowgrave route was, but also capture the feeling of trauma. I don't know what it is, but every time I hear this song, it kind of just puts me in this state where I feel the anxiety that a trigger would cause me, or at least a portion of it, however, It's not exactly bad, because it feels like it's behind a barrier. Like I'm able to experience the anxiety from it, but it can't get me. Don't know if that makes any sense, but that was mostly a personal rant. Don't mind what I put here too much; I'm doing mentally okay and I have friends and family to support me.

In 2025, the composer introduced a revolutionary six-mallet independence technique, treating each mallet as a pianist’s finger to achieve an unprecedented level of articulation and expressive control. Unlike the conventional approach in which six-mallet marimba players depend largely on hand-alternation technique for fast passages, this innovation focuses on complete mallet independence, enabling the performer to shape contrapuntal textures and intricate polyphony with clarity and precision.

To showcase this technical and musical advancement, the composer composed a cycle of five etudes for six-mallet marimba, each exploring distinct dimensions of independence, inter-hand coordination, and tonal balance. Together, these etudes not only expand the instrument’s technical vocabulary but also mark a significant step toward bridging the expressive and structural capabilities of the marimba and the piano, establishing a new standard for six-mallet performance in contemporary percussion literature.
